A win in North Dakota! According to ecigarettereviewed.com, lawmakers in North Dakota have passed a bill that both bans the sale and use of e-cigarettes by minors and classifies e-cigarettes as a non-tobacco product.

Even though the national trend may be to regulate e-cigs as tobacco products, tt sounds like North Dakota lawmakers are using common sense rather than taking money to pass laws!

According to the same website, when the e-cigarette bills were being considered, lawmakers also decided against an increase in cigarette tax. Rep Rep. Rick Becker was quoted as saying, “It is not our job to raise taxes to try and mold people’s behavior to what we think is a better and more healthy lifestyle.”
